ProMat 2025 — the premier trade show for material handling and supply chain solutions — wrapped up last week in Chicago, with industry leaders, technology providers, and supply chain professionals from around the world coming together over the course of four days to share the latest innovations in automation, artificial intelligence, and modern supply chain operations.
The Synkrato team was there in force taking in the latest trends, engaging in thought-provoking conversations and sessions, and (of course) spreading the word about Synkrato’s powerful AI-driven Operating System for Warehouses.
What was the primary theme at ProMat 2025?
A recurring theme throughout the show was the potential and opportunities for artificial intelligence to drive optimization and revolutionize the supply chain industry. It seemed everyone was talking about AI, but that many solutions being shown or discussed were in their infancy and only just beginning to explore the possibilities.
For our team, this was the perfect opportunity to show off the maturity and proven results of the Synkrato platform.
Jason Macuso, Director of Product Management at Synkrato, split his time between the Synkrato booth and the booth for our customer and partner, Zebra Technologies which proudly showcased Synkrato’s cost-saving capabilities and optimization gains for their facilities in Heerenveen and Kenosha.
“Efficiency is everything. That’s why Zebra is transforming warehousing with their technology and Synkrato’s digital twin platform in their Heerenveen and Kenosha warehouses. With AI-driven optimization, you can simulate operations, predict bottlenecks, and make decisions, smart & fast, before issues occur. This is the future of logistics. Predictive, automated, and continuously optimized.”
Proven AI Solutions Providing Real-World Results
Attendees, for their part, were seeking proven solutions that could deliver gains in efficiency and cost savings, while also making their day-to-day roles easier and lightening an ever-increasing workload.
Whether the challenge is in how to get work done more efficiently, how to improve travel times (the time it takes a person or autonomous worker to move across a warehouse to pick or pack materials), or how to best optimize labor, attendees were eager to discover AI solutions that have developed beyond the concept stage and can deliver real-world results immediately.
We couldn’t have asked for a better stage to present Synkrato from!
While Synkrato utilizes various AI-engines that work behind the scenes to analyze warehouse data coming from all the disconnected systems that make a warehouse facility hum along each day, the power of the platform comes from the fact that our AI has been exclusively trained on logistics optimization.
As we showed Promat attendees our logistics AI agent (whom we lovingly refer to as “Trinity,” a nod to Neo’s powerful and knowledgable guide from “The Matrix” series), we could see the light bulb come on for warehouse managers and operations specialists.
Trinity has been trained on logistics optimization, but our AI also converts photos, documents, manifests, and more into actionable intelligence, automating tasks and providing real-time insights and predictions.
